Denmark's data centres have quite a small number of people working!

Politicians often express great enthusiasm when tech giants announce plans to build data centres in Denmark. “It’s an apple that has fallen into our lap, and to stick with the Apple theme, we’re on cloud nine,” Torsten Nielsen (K), who was mayor of Viborg Municipality at the time, said when Apple first announced its data centre back in 2015 . Amazon's every team is working on Generative AI

During Amazon's Q2 2023 earnings call, CEO Andy Jassy mentioned that every facet of Amazon's businesses is currently engaged in multiple generative AI initiatives. These initiatives span various aspects, from enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Jassy emphasized the pivotal role of AI not only in the AWS, Stores, Advertising, and Entertainment businesses but also in all other domains.

Amazon's investment and focus on generative AI are substantial, and Jassy hinted at the possibility of some AI-driven improvements for Alexa, which might be unveiled at an upcoming devices event on September 20th. Earlier job listings also indicated efforts to enhance the interactive conversational experience of Amazon Search.

It's worth noting that other tech giants are equally enthusiastic about AI. Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned that AI and machine learning are deeply integrated into their products, while Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai touted Google's Search Generative Experience as a major evolution in search.
