Denmark's data centres have quite a small number of people working!

Politicians often express great enthusiasm when tech giants announce plans to build data centres in Denmark. “It’s an apple that has fallen into our lap, and to stick with the Apple theme, we’re on cloud nine,” Torsten Nielsen (K), who was mayor of Viborg Municipality at the time, said when Apple first announced its data centre back in 2015 . He expected 10,000 new jobs to be created in the municipality. This prospect of hundreds—if not thousands—of new jobs is often cited as a huge benefit to society. Among other places, in West Jutland, where Microsoft is planning to build three large data centres. “I am very pleased when large companies as Microsoft choose to make significant investments in Denmark and help create new jobs. Windows laptops and PCs now would have a COPILOT key

Microsoft is making its AI Copilot more accessible on new Windows 11 PCs, introducing a dedicated Copilot key on the keyboard. This addition will swiftly activate the Copilot for Windows AI system when pressed, allowing users to benefit from its capabilities. The tool assists in answering queries, summarizing web content, and handling Windows-specific tasks such as adjusting system settings.

This new key marks Microsoft's first keyboard alteration since the introduction of the Windows key almost three decades ago. It reflects the company's ongoing commitment to integrating AI into its products. Recent launches of AI Copilots have supported various tasks, including drafting Microsoft Office documents, web searches using Bing, coding, and managing complex industrial machinery.

Yusuf Mehdi, Microsoft's corporate vice president and consumer chief marketing officer, highlighted this shift toward a more personalized and intelligent computing future in a blog post. He outlined the integration of AI into Windows, spanning from the system and silicon to the hardware. Mehdi anticipates that 2024 will be termed the "year of the AI PC," simplifying and enhancing people's computing experiences.

Moreover, this dedicated Copilot key appears to position Microsoft ahead of its digital assistant rivals, providing instant access to Copilot with a single keystroke. Previously, launching Copilot on Windows 11 required using the taskbar or pressing the Windows key + C.
